For general sewing purposes, this highly ELASTIC thread, made of elastane and polyester, is particularly suited to smocking on both rigid and stretchable fabrics. For quilting, truly beautiful effects and even 3D effects can be achieved on surfaces.
If the ELASTIC thread is used as a bobbin thread, the thickness can be regulated by the bobbin thread tension. Many sewing machine manufacturers provide a range of suitable needles with which the ELASTIC thread can be couched using a feed foot. The thickness of the ripple can be regulated using the bobbin thread tension.
Further applications include frill seams in hemming and bubble embroidery. Here, relatively long step stitches are used and invisible stitching is also an absolute necessity.

Care instructions : washing up to 90°C, soft ironing allowed.
